Its true that once you get a good economy in ACEO it is pretty easy. Factorio is your game if you want a smooth Indie. If you prefer a bit more detail ACEO is for you.īoth games could use a lot of optomization, so both fail this. If you like Prison Architect UI and graphics, SA is nearly a clone of that. If you want more detail and closer to true airport operations go with ACEO.īoth games have mods, ACEO has a business and franchise mod you can find on the fourms, no Steam workshop support quite yet. If you have to choose here is where I stand, and I own both. I agree if you can afford both titles go with both. Can't wait to see what more will be added to CEO. However, at this point, what gets me more interested in CEO is the realism of the taxiways, detail on the planes, LOVE the baggage system, LOVE the fuel system, and generally I just like the way you can see the $$$ roll in with the green. Once SimAirport added multi-levels I will likely put another 50+ hours into that game. (I love CEO by the way) Honestly, the real life airlines gave me a second wind in SimAirport when I was kinda maxed out on the content. People who are saying that SimAirport lacks content hasn't played it recently or hasn't put enough effort or thought into the game, or are blinded by their commitment to CEO. SimAirport has custom airlines (which the community has added real life airlines), Public Address System, Fuel System (not as good as CEO), Baggage System (not as good as CEO), Flight Scheduling System (Better than CEO), Can name gates, Bigger Jets, Can simulate up to about 2,000 Pax before it gets slow, Security Systems that are customizable, First Class Queue lines that get priority, and many others. Currently I have spent most of my time in CEO (I like the progression of the play better, but like Last2Night said, there isn't a whole lot to add after you've saved a million bucks or so). *** I have put over 500 hours into SimAirport & 60+ hours into ACEO *** I love both games. However without proper road map, its a gamble to buy CEO. If at some point CEO will manage to have emergencies/incidents, multiple floor structures and as much content as Sim does, i will definetly say go for CEO as it has slightly better graphics and animations. Sim on the other hand has tons more content, working more properly and has a very good features confirmed to come out early 2018, such as multiple floor structures, emergencies and incidents etc. Right now CEO is just dull and empty without even a proper Road Map. However if for some reason you cant afford having them both, i would suggest going for Airport Sim or wait untill CEO has progressed far enough through Early Access. They are both good and both are cheap, so i dont see a reason why not buy them both. They do this over and over but nothing gets clean.Originally posted by Last2Night:I own both games. Hmmm however what I noticed is that my janitors do thr "cleaning" animation but the garbage actually never gets cleared. Yep there are garbage bins but not too many of them. Is there a staff door path to the various parts of your airport? The janitors should be using any doors available, but I can't help but think there's a glitch in the pathfinding algo where it might be looking for staff access to secured zones. Granted, your janitors should be sweeping it up, but the lack of cans may be a contributing factor.Ģ. Are there any? If pax don't have a place to dump their trash, they just dump it anywhere. I didn't see a single garbage can in those screenshots. In all seriousness, though, I have two questions:ġ. Kinda reminds me of the airport in The FIfth Element, so you've managed to create a future airport. Well, you can see the paths the pax are taking.they considerately paved them in trash.
